Liên hoan phim quốc tế Venezia thường niên lần thứ 76 được tổ chức từ 28 tháng 8 đến ngày 7 tháng 9 năm 2019.[2] Ban tổ chức đã lựa chọn nữ đạo diễn người Argentina Lucrecia Martel làm chủ tịch ban giám khảo.[3] The Truth do Hirokazu Kore-eda là tác phẩm chiếu mở màn liên hoan phim.[4] Trong khi đó giải cao nhất Sư tử vàng thuộc về bộ phim Joker do Todd Phillips đạo diễn.[5]
